The Public Theater opened its Astor Place home with Hair in 1967. The story of a group of young Americans searching for love and peace during the Vietnam era, Hair is a timeless portrait of a movement that changed the world. This spring we are proud to bring our revival production of Hair to London’s historic Gielgud Theatre, following our Tony Award-winning run on Broadway, and our extended run in Central Park.

As we finalize preparations to bring the original Broadway revival cast to London and launch a new tribe here in New York, we want to make sure that our supporters have the opportunity to celebrate with us at the opening night performance of Hair in London.
