The Public Theater 50th Anniversary Fellows Program
This summer will mark the 50th anniversary of The Public Theater’s free Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacorte Theater. To date, we have distributed over 5 million tickets to performances at the Delacorte, and we continue to welcome audiences to our historic home on Lafayette Street, which contains five intimate theaters, and our recently renovated cabaret space, Joe’s Pub.
This year, we celebrate this milestone with the creation of our 50th Anniversary Fellows Program. Our dedicated group of supporters account for over 75% of our annual budget, and by joining their ranks today as a 50th Anniversary Fellow, you will ensure that the values and artistry which have distinguished The Public for decades will flourish in the years to come.
