Membership at The Public is a tax-deductible contribution in support of our msision to make theater accessible to all. Members also enjoy savings on tickets and fees, free exchanges, and Priority Access when our shows go on sale.
How is Membership different from Subscription?
In a traditional subscription, patrons reserve seats to a series of performances in a season, usually all on the same night (for example, the first Friday in a run for each show). The cost of a subscription is based on the number of performances attended. With a Membership, you choose any performances you want to attend, and can purchase just one show or many shows. Membership starts at $65, and Member tickets start as low as $25.
Does Membership guarantee me a ticket to every show in the season?
No. All Member tickets are subject to available inventory. In the event that a show becomes sold out, Members will be given priority notification for added performances.
Are tickets included in the price of Membership?
No. The initial contribution does not include any tickets. However, for Premium Members ($500+), your contribution includes reserved seating at Free Shakespeare in the Park.
How can I get Even Earlier Access?
