Young Partner FAQ:
What is a Young Partner Evening?
Young Partners are invited to attend events throughout the year to meet with their community of fellow Young Partners and enjoy performances. Our most popular events are Young Partner Cocktail Receptions and Shakespeare in the Park Opening Nights. We also organize an annual holiday party, happy hours, and other gatherings that are not necessarily attached to a show. Events are announced via email invitation as they are scheduled.
I’m interested in joining as a Young Advocate. Will I be able to reserve two seats to each Shakespeare in the Park production?
With the Young Advocate allotment of two reserved seats, you may either reserve one seat to both Shakespeare in the Park productions, OR two seats to one production. If you’d like to reserve a pair of seats for both productions, consider joining at the Young Leader ($1k) level, which has an allotment of four reserved seats.
When I’m invited to a special event attached to a performance, does that include a free ticket?
To attend a Shakespeare in the Park Opening Night, your ticket(s) must come from your total seat allotment. For Young Partner Cocktail Receptions and performances, your ticket(s) can be purchased at the Partner discount unless you have an allotment of complimentary tickets to our Astor Place season. For events where tickets are complimentary, we will state so in the invitation.
Can I pay for my Young Partnership in installments?
Yes. We can set up a monthly or custom payment plan that works for you.
Can my company match my gift?
Yes, many Partners have their gifts matched by their employer. Companies match the tax-deductible portion of the donation. Please refer to the final line of the benefits matrix to view the tax deductibility of each level.
Can I give a Young Partnership as a gift?
Absolutely! Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 212.539.8734 to make the arrangements.
If you have any additional questions or for more information contact the Partners Desk at email@example.com.
**The Foundation will contribute up to $250,000 in matching gifts.
