Continuing this season’s exploration of radical movements in American history, Public Forum welcomes prominent figures in the LGBT community to discuss the past, present, and future of the fight for gay rights with work and conversation from David France (reporter, author, & Academy Award-nominated filmmaker for How To Survive a Plague), Elle Hearns (Strategic Partner & organizer for #BlackLivesMatter), Sarah Schulman (novelist, playwright, activist), Steven Thrasher (Guardian US writer at large & doctoral research in American Studies at NYU), and more.
