Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

  • All performances in Joe’s Pub do not require a face mask because food and drink are available throughout the show. A face mask is strongly encourage when not actively eating or drinking.

Singer, Actor, Dancer Dionne Figgins has been kicking it on Broadway in spectacular shows like Motown, Memphis & Smokey Joe’s Cafe. And now…for one night only she stars in a tour-de-force performance telling the exciting story of a Las Vegas Legend in THIS IS LOLA!

THIS IS LOLA! is a song and dance extravaganza that takes you on a thrill ride from Lola Falana’s humble beginnings in a small town in New Jersey to her unlikely rise to be the top selling entertainer of sin city’s golden age.

Dionne Figgins was a ballerina with The Dance Theatre of Harlem and has made guest appearances with Complexions Contemporary Ballet and Forces of Nature. She has appeared on TV in “She’s Gotta Have It,” “Flesh and Bone,” and “Glee” to name a few, and was recently seen in the film Bolden.
