"I’ve always been a fan of The Public Theater and its belief in  'theater of, by, and for all people.'  So when I was invited to create original artwork inspired by the shows of its 2018/19 season, I was intrigued.  As an artist, storytelling is a key element in my work, and to be able to interpret theater — a new, uncharted medium for me — in my illustrated style seemed like a natural evolution from my fashion and design background."

Last season, The Public collaborated with local artist Justin Teodoro on a series of illustrations capturing a year in the life of The Public Theater. We are excited to be showcasing the series, along with a number of Justin's original illustrations, on the Levin Mezzanine at 425 Lafayette Street until November 24.
