Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

  • All performances in Joe’s Pub do not require a face mask because food and drink are available throughout the show. A face mask is strongly encourage when not actively eating or drinking.

While Joe's Pub is temporarily closed to public access, join us for Joe's Pub Live! – a free series of live-streamed and archived performances from our iconic stage in New York City. Facilitating social connectivity during this time of physical distancing, Joe's Pub remains dedicated to supporting performing artists at every stage of their careers through sharing concerts with our audiences each Thursday, Friday & Saturday night at 8PM Eastern. 

Closures and cancellations because of COVID-19 have majorly disrupted access to revenue for artists all over the world. Sarah Stiles  stars opposite Kevin James  in the new Netflix comedy THE CREW. She is also one of the stars in the critically acclaimed EPIX Original Series GET SHORTY. She is a two time Tony nominee for her role as "Sandy" in the Broadway production of TOOTSIE and her performance as “Jessica” in HAND TO GOD. She is currently recurring on Showtime’s BILLIONS and voiced the character “Spinel” in STEVEN UNIVERSE: THE MOVIE. 

Her other Broadway productions include ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER, Kate/ Lucy AVENUE Q, and THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. 

Recent television and film credits include Steven Soderbergh's UNSANE,  I’M DYING UP HERE, THE BLACKLIST, DIETLAND, and the animated SUNNY DAY for Nickelodeon. Sarah lends her voice on the recording of Pasek and Paul’s JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH.

Sarah penned her solo show SQUIRREL HEART and performed it to sold out audiences at Joe’s Pub. 

Like all Joe's Pub shows, all ages are welcome, but please be aware that performances may include adult language and topics.
