Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

  • All performances in Joe’s Pub do not require a face mask because food and drink are available throughout the show. A face mask is strongly encourage when not actively eating or drinking.

CALLING TO ORDER ALL WOMEN AND FIERCE ALLIES OF WOMEN!

Commencing on the fullish moon of December 11th in the glow of a candlelit room, The Secret Society of The Sisterhood invites some of the most prolific, iconic and diverse women of our generation to come together in front of an intimate audience, and share personal stories surrounding the topic of the evening.

Sharing personal stories surrounding the theme "What I've Gained From Loss" this gathering of The Sisterhood will be lead by: 

Musician and co-founder of legendary rock bands Le Tigre and MEN - JD SAMSON

Comedian, writer and beloved star of Netflix's Flinch DESIREE BURCH

International tastemaker, author and senior editor @ Food and Wine KAT KINSMAN

with music by iconic musicians SUZZY ROCHE and LUCY WAINWRIGHT ROCHE

and male ally inductee WYATT CENAC, comedian and star of Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas (HBO) and former Daily Show correspondent. 

Featuring the work of visual artists CRISTINA PITTER and LOVEWIN

Hosted by writer, performer, producer and eternal waitress TRISH NELSON

We invite you to gather with us and bask in the moonlight as we unleash our voices in celebration of women, life experience and human connectivity!
