For someone with a rationally irrational fear of low heights, Ally Bonino has often been given songs about flying and, more likely than not, being a bird. Why? Who can say. But join Ally and some truly incredible friends for an evening of music that will test the limits of gravity. From songs that make your heart lift off the ground, to those that keep you firmly rooted to the earth, prepare for a night of soaring vocals, stupidly heartwarming stories, and likely, wide-legged pants. Hopefully wide-legged pants. We’ll have to see what’s on sale.
Corgi mahm and almost contestant on The Great American Bake Show - it’s fine, it’s fine, she’s totally fine, everything is…fine - Ally Bonino made her Joe’s Pub solo debut with Flight in the spring of 2023 and is so jazzed to be returning. Ally has spent most of her career on the ground level of new and emerging works and can be heard on many demos floating around the city. Truly. Throw a stick on a pile of demos, she’s probably on it. In the spring of ‘22, Ally made her Public Theater debut just across the lobby as Lucy Burns in the world premiere of Suffs, and in the spring of ‘24, she reprised that role, making her Broadway debut at the Music Box Theater in the Tony Award-winning, history-making production of SUFFS. Other favorite credits include Dogfight, Myths & Hymns, and Merrily We Roll Along (not that one, everyone calm down). Let’s have some fun :)
