Howard Fishman
HOWARD FISHMAN returns with his New Orleans-style brass band in tow, featuring: Rafael Castillo-Halvorssen (trumpet), Jerrick Matthews (trombone), Kenny Bentley, Jr. (sousaphone), and Mark McLean (drums).
Fishman has been a mainstay of the Brooklyn music scene for nearly three decades, has released eleven albums to date, toured internationally, and has appeared on stages including at Lincoln Center and Palais de Chaillot in Paris. His music is an amalgam of New Orleans soul, indie rock, Americana, and avant garde, and his live show, always featuring some of NYC's finest sidemen, is known for its ecstatic unpredictability.
