Claudia Mulet: The Music I Carry With Me

"The Music I Carry With Me" is a show that celebrates women, the divas I grew up listening to and their art. Through this performance, I want to recall the music my grandmother used to play in the afternoons, the songs I learned to appreciate thanks to my aunts and grandmothers in Havana. I wish to evoke those glorious moments in Cuba, the warm summer evenings, and the melodies that caress Havana sunsets, accompanied by coffee and delightful conversation.

“La música que llevo conmigo” es un show que celebra a las mujeres, a las divas que crecí escuchando y a su arte. Con este espectáculo quiero recordar la música que mi abuela ponía por las tardes, la que aprendí a escuchar gracias a mis tías y abuelas en La Habana. Deseo evocar aquellos momentos gloriosos de Cuba, las cálidas tardes de verano y las melodías que acarician los atardeceres habaneros, a golpe de café y de una conversación muy amena.
