Crafting the Sound: The Music of Chaka Khan

Chaka Khan has had many background singers and lineups over the years. Last year, the fan favorite lineup consisting of Sandra St. Victor (The Family Stand, Prince), Audrey Wheeler Downing (Mariah Carey, C&C Music Factory, Whitney Houston), and Karen Bernod (Icognito, Mary J. Blige, D'Angelo) reunited to recreate and teach their iconic CK blend and the art of background singing to a young artist. It was captured in the film "Crafting The Sound," written, directed, and produced by Milik Kashad. Due to high critical and fan demand, the girls are getting back together to do their first full show together as a unit. They will be joined by Tawatha Agee (Mtume, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin) in a show that showcases the music of Chaka Khan and their chart-topping hits as solo and featured artists. This is a one-night musical experience you do not want to miss.
