Elissa Mielke

Elissa Mielke is a Canadian singer and songwriter from the forests of Southern Ontario known for her poignant lyricism and melodies that stay with you. Her previous releases received rave reviews from publications like Pitchfork who called her voice “oceanic.. an immense ocean of an instrument, as complex in its sweetness as raw honey…uncontainable, spilling out of herself, flooding cities,” and Rolling Stone, who praised her voice as a “dominant instrument — that richly textured voice that can evoke love, heartbreak, and nostalgia.”

She’ll be previewing all new songs from an upcoming release, so this is the first time many of these songs will be played outside of her bedroom. Elissa’s secular hymns are written on the piano and inspired by great storytellers like Lucinda Williams, Neil Young, and Carole King.
