Two years after his back-to-back sold out concert premiere of FOUAD OF NAZARETH, Fouad Dakwar returns to Joe’s Pub to premiere songs from his latest musical project.
AMO JULIANO is a punk-rock retelling of the life and assassination of Jewish Palestinian activist theater maker, Juliano Mer-Khamis; Co-founder of the Freedom Theatre and Fouad’s relative.
In other words, the “Amo” he never met…
Featuring Fouad Dakwar, Saum Seyed, Nadia Dandashi, Sahar Milani, Ben Covello, Jenny Giammanco, and Nathan Repasz
In partnership with the Friends of the Freedom Theatre
Fouad Dakwar is a multimedia artist and 2025 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient whose subversive comedy channels his Palestinian immigrant upbringing (with a punk-rock twist). He is a 2024–25 Dramatists Guild Foundation Fellow, 2025 Yes And Laughter Lab Fellow, and proud member of the Joe’s Pub Council.
