Generation Women is a multigenerational storytelling night that invites a woman or non-binary performer in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s+ to share an original true story on a theme. Our diverse line-ups will make you laugh, cry, and reflect on the cycle of life. The mission of Generation Women is to amplify underheard voices, and create space for intergenerational connection and community. Hosted by Georgia Clark. All are welcome to join us.

Heat
Join us this August as we crank up the heat — and celebrate desire, daring, and the glorious, sweaty, unbuttoned side of being alive. Our multigenerational storytellers take the Joe's Pub stage to share true tales of HEAT: the summer fling that rewrote the rules; the late-in-life awakening nobody saw coming; the night she finally stopped apologizing for what she wanted; the seduction that didn't go to plan; or the moment she discovered her own body was the best company in the room. Funny, frank, and gloriously alive, our wise and witty storytellers — from their twenties to their seventies and beyond — will remind us that wanting is human, pleasure is ageless, and life is far too short to keep your cool.

Beginner
Join us as we celebrate the courage it takes to be a beginner — at any age, in any chapter, no matter how late it feels.
Our multigenerational storytellers take the Joe's Pub stage to share true tales of beginning again: the late starter who finally tried the thing they were always too scared to attempt; the reinvention that arrived only after one chapter closed for good; the novice standing in a room where everyone expected the expert; the first fragile steps into a love, a calling, or a life you never saw coming; or the moment you realized that starting over was the bravest thing you'd ever done. Whether the beginning was chosen or thrust upon us, our wise and witty storytellers will remind us that it's never too late to be new again.
Don't miss New York's best storytelling night, presenting true stories told by women and non-binary performers across the generations, all turning up the heat on desire, joy, and the unapologetic pursuit of what sets us alight.
