On a family trip to Bali, Jake secretly messages on an app with Sam. The app? Grindr. The Sam? Altman. Obviously, Jake posts their exchange online, and what follows is a whirlwind of legal battles, press conflict, and boba dates live from a rickety boat on the Indonesian sea. From Komodo dragons to data centers, mosquito nets to job displacement, Jake is accused of making the whole thing up. But in the age of AI, who gets to decide what’s real?
