SHADES OF BLACK is a solo show about belonging, identity, and the idea that sometimes the world's expectations don't match who you really are. Kim Onah, a Harvard graduate and Broadway performer (&Juliet, The Notebook), takes audiences on a journey through the moments that shaped her—from childhood to stage—exploring what it means to exist authentically in a world that LOVES a box. Through an evening of songs, stories, and honest conversation, she invites you to help her piece together her own narrative as a Black woman navigating the in-between. If you've ever felt caught between worlds, this show is for you.
