Acclaimed composer Lance Horne presents the world premiere concert of LUX, an ambitious new musical that journeys through three distinct worlds: the opulence of pre-revolutionary Paris, the underground speakeasies of 1929 New Orleans, and the apocalyptic fervor of Burning Man on the last day on earth.
Featuring special guests from Broadway and beyond, this one-night-only celebration of the LUX concept album release brings Horne's visionary score to life for the first time with a full live band, showcasing years of artistic development in a single unforgettable evening.
This performance marks a homecoming to Joe's Pub, where Horne debuted his work in the venue's inaugural 1998 season, having since performed there with his rock band and while supporting artists from Alan Cumming to John Cameron Mitchell.
Lance Horne is a Steinway Artist and recipient of Jonathan Larson and Emmy Awards. Horne holds degrees in Composition (BM, MM) from The Juilliard School and is an Interlochen graduate.
