Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

While Joe's Pub is temporarily closed to public access, join us for Joe's Pub Live! – a free series of live-streamed and archived performances from our iconic stage in New York City. Facilitating social connectivity during this time of physical distancing, Joe's Pub remains dedicated to supporting performing artists at every stage of their careers through sharing concerts with our audiences each Thursday, Friday & Saturday night at 8PM Eastern. 

Closures and cancellations because of COVID-19 have majorly disrupted access to revenue for artists all over the world. The holidays are a whole lot earlier and hotter this July as the First Ladies of Disco deliver the gift of music and song!

Already the most talked about heritage group of the twenty-first century, First Ladies of Disco is comprised of legendary, award-winning artists whose hits span multiple decades. The ensemble includes two-time Grammy nominee Martha Wash ("It's Raining Men"), Grammy and Oscar nominee, R&B/dance icon Linda Clifford ("Runaway Love"), and the exciting Norma Jean Wright (formerly of the multi-million-selling group Chic, "Dance, Dance, Dance"). With this, their first Christmas-themed special, these heavenly-voiced performers will delight audiences with timeless holiday classics, as well as a few of their world famous high-energy hits. James Arena (author of the book First Ladies of Disco narrates this performance). 

Like all Joe's Pub shows, all ages are welcome, but please be aware that performances may include adult language and topics.
