Julie Klausner: Medleys and Other New Variants

Julie Klausner: Medleys and Other New Variants

April 1 - April 8, 2022

There are two things we know about human beings to be true. First, that it is in our nature to crave variety, as in medleys both musical and vegetable. And second, that we are a curious species conditioned to ask questions. Such as: Did you know Elvis Presley was a huge Monty Python fan? Is it true that Kate Bush wrote a Silence of the Lambs musical? (No, but if she had, wouldn’t it be neat to hear a song from it?) And finally, do you miss Stephen Sondheim and Michael Nesmith and would you like to hear their songs again, sung surprisingly well by a comedian with a podcast who created an iconic TV show? Or are you just sick of staying in your apartment without an extraordinary reason to go out again?

Julie Klausner (“Difficult People,” other stuff) is back for two nights only to regale you with clever medleys (clevleys?), original songs, and old favorites in her iconic rock ’n roll comedy extravaganza. The banter will be sharp and the music will be loud: Come to the cabaret.
