Joe Apollonio is actor-comedian Joe Apollonio's first show for the stage. The show tells the tale of Joe's life; growing up with an eccentric single mom, being queer with fringe sexual preferences, and trying to navigate the entertainment industry while financially supporting his now aging mother. In a classic one-person-show format, Joe portrays three different characters (himself, his mother, and a much older man who pays him for sex) to playfully explore these cinematic themes. Absurd, unhinged, and low-key depressing at times, (in a funny way though) the show aims to make people laugh for an hour.
