With “songs worthy of the Great American Songbook” (CBC Radio), award-winning sibling songwriters Don and Jeff Breithaupt (aka the BREITHAUPT BROTHERS) return to Joe’s Pub for an all-star celebration marking the 20th anniversary of their world-premiere on the Joe’s Pub stage. A sparkling line-up of singers and musicians will return to the fold bringing the brothers’ songbook and “gift for tuneful theatrical fare” (The New Yorker) to thrilling life. Among those who’ve interpreted that songbook over the years are some of the most acclaimed performers of the current century, including KELLI O'HARA, CATHERINE RUSSELL, NORM LEWIS, JESSE TYLER FERGUSON, LACHANZE, KATE MCGARRY, PAUL SHAFFER, JANIS SIEGEL, MARISSA MULDER, EVERETT BRADLEY, the late BRENT CARVER, and many more. Jazz great and Broadway staple LEA DELARIA says of the two-time Fred Ebb Award finalists’ songs: “Smart, savvy lyrics on a groove that really swings, these boys know how to write a tune.” Watch this space for an announcement of the evening’s all-star line-up, coming soon!
