Christi Somers

What shapes us? What breaks us? And how do we turn it all into something worth laughing about?

Christi Somers—praised by The New York Times as “very funny” and hailed as a “must-see” by Time Out New York—delivers a powerhouse new hour that’s as bold as it is blisteringly funny. With her signature blend of razor-sharp wit, theatrical absurdity, and raw, unfiltered honesty, she dives headfirst into the chaos of childhood, the heartbreak of loss, the contradictions of faith, and the ridiculous beauty of simply surviving.

This isn’t just stand-up—it’s a full-throttle, can’t-look-away experience from a comedian whose career has been built on truth, connection, and comedy that cuts deep. Hilarious, heartbreaking, and completely unforgettable, this is the show you’ll be talking about long after the lights come up.

Christi Somers is a comedian and comedy educator who has built a career at the intersection of humor, heart, and connection. A fixture in the NYC comedy scene for over a decade, she has captivated audiences across stand-up, television, theatre, and voice acting. Her credits include Comedy Central, TruTV, IFC, MAX, PBS Kids, Adult Swim, and Manhattan Theatre Club, with performances showcased at SXSW, Just For Laughs, and even enshrined in the National Comedy Center Museum. She currently tours as the opening act for Nicole Byer.

As co-founder of The LaughtHER Collective, Christi is revolutionizing comedy education—empowering womxn+ and underrepresented voices through innovative workshops, exclusive comedic blueprints, and dynamic community building. A passionate mental health advocate, she collaborates with Chris Gethard and Wellness Together for Laughing Together’s improv-based workshops, using humor to promote social-emotional learning. She also works with nonprofits like Stand Up! Girls and the Center for Creative Education, bringing the transformative power of comedy to underserved youth.
