Based in New York City, Miriam Elhajli performs & works as a researcher at The Association for Cultural Equity founded by Alan Lomax. Moving at the intersection of the vibrant avant-garde and the folkloric communities of Brooklyn, she has worked with artists such as Bread & Puppet, Mali Obomsawin, Jen Shyu, Lau Noah, and Adam O'Farrill.
