Beloved NYC trans slut rock band Um, Jennifer? is thrilled to be making their Joe’s Pub debut with an exclusive one-night engagement of Um, Cabaret?

The night will be a celebration of their latest single “Delancey” - off of their debut record out this Spring. This unforgettable evening will be hosted by Anania (Host/Creator of Gaydar), feature comedy sets by Jes Tom (Netflix’s Gender Agenda, Hulu’s Crush), Esther Fallick (Esther Updates Her Book), and include a live set by Um, Jennifer? alongside the world premiere of their new music video “Delancey.”

More on the band: Fig and Eli met at a party in Brooklyn. Eli wanted to hook up with Fig's friend. Now they make music together for nobody except the vengeful god, Jennifer. She thinks their music sucks.

Jes Tom is a stand-up comic, actor, and writer, gleefully providing the trans, queer, Asian American, millienial twink perspective that everyone never knew they wanted. Their solo show, LESS LONELY, presented by Elliot Page, had a successful run Off-Broadway in 2023. They were a story editor on HBO Max's OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH. Jes can be seen & heard in the Hulu Feature CRUSH, HBO Max’s LOVE LIFE, Adult Swim's TUCA & BERTIE, and on Hannah Gadsby’s GENDER AGENDA, on Netflix. Their writing has been published by Reductress, Shondaland, and Condé Nast’s Them, and they wrote for the Audible/Broadway Video series HOT WHITE HEIST, produced by Alan Cumming. Jes has been featured in The New York Times, Vice, Ozy, Forbes, NowThis, Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2021, and were selected as a New Face at the 2021 Just For Laughs Festival.

Esther Fallick (she/her) is a comedian, singer, and musical theater writer based out of Brooklyn, NY. She has been written about in Vulture, Autostraddle, Them, Broadway World, and more. Her one woman show, “Esther Updates Her Book” has played Joe's Pub, 54 Below, Union Hall, and more, and was part of the 2022 New York Comedy Festival. She was also a co-writer on the Purple M&M's debut song, "I'm Just Gonna Be Me", which premiered online in September 2022. She performs regularly around Brooklyn & Manhattan and you're just gonna love her :)

Anania Williams is an actor, singer, creator, and drag artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Credits include: Lucky Stiff (Domonique— NYC), Kinky Boots (Lola— Chicago, IL), Into the Woods (Narrator- Boston, MA), opening for Bob the Drag Queen (LA, 2024), opening for Chappell Roan (Chicago, 2023) and Don’t Look Up (Netflix Productions- Boston, MA).
