EMERGING WRITERS GROUP ALUMNI

Alumni Accomplishments.

Alumni of the Emerging Writers Group have had their theatrical work produced on and off Broadway and around the globe. Our alumni have also contributed greatly to the film, television, and publishing industries and have won and been nominated for countless writing awards, including Tony, Obie, Lortel, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Emmy, and Academy Awards; MacArthur "Genius" Grants; and the Pulitzer Prize.

  • FIDELIS by Christina Gorman (EWG 2008), produced in Public Studio
  • NEIGHBORS by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (EWG 2009), produced by The Public in 2010
  • NO PLACE TO GO and THE OUTER SPACE by Ethan Lipton (EWG 2008), produced by The Public in 2012 and 2017, respectively. The Public will produce Ethan's THE SEAT OF OUR PANTS in 2025
