Public Works' Oral History Project

Public Works' Oral History Project is a storytelling initiative featuring individual and collective works by members of Public Works. Using personal narrative, theater, video, and other forms, the project contains artistic documentation of the lives and experiences of New Yorkers, as told by the Public Works community. The Oral History Project plays a vital role in the lifeblood of the Public Works program: sharing our stories allows us to sustain the culture and values of our community within our longitudinal relationships. The project is an embodiment of our commitment to civic engagement and artistic participation.
