Thrilling, moving, and revolutionary

- Variety
SOFT POWER delivers a sharp-edged dissection of American-Chinese relationships

- The Hollywood Reporter
Lush melody, spiked with very pointed, political point-making

- The Daily Beast
Bristling with ideas that rarely get dramatized, let alone in such imaginative form

- The New York Times
[Hwang] affirms the things that could make America good again: care, compassion, mutual respect

- The New Yorker
I don’t remember when I last saw a musical that was this smart—and touching

- The Wall Street Journal
