Location Site & Space Rentals

The Public Theater has six spaces that are used for its productions, readings, workshops, rehearsals, events, concerts, and meetings. On occasion these spaces are available to rent for events, holding spaces, shooting locations, meetings, etc.

Please keep in mind that we are generally unable to confirm space availability more than 4 months in advance and are not often able to accommodate rentals longer than one week. Rental costs are determined by the needs of the rental and estimates can be provided once availability is confirmed.

Email requests to rentals@publictheater.org with the date(s) and space in which you are interested. Please be sure to include a detailed description of the project, any technical needs, expected number of participants, and any other pertinent information.

Encouraging aspiring actors is a cornerstone of The Public Theater's philosophy, and has been from our inception. Because of this commitment to emerging talent, we maintain an open casting policy. We do accept unsolicited headshots and resumes, evaluate them by hand, and consider each one for current and future casting.
