It’s pretty straight-forward: you got Sheppy on piano and you also got Daf! Sheppy and Daf have been a musical duo since 2017, when Daphne Overbeck--a gorgeous lush who sings and is trans or whatever--and James Sheppard--a brilliant composer and musician who likes to drink, what of it?--met at National Sawdust to perform in Sasha Velour’s Nightgowns. Shortly thereafter, the pair began their weekly cabaret at Club Cumming: the Happiest Hour, where Daf almost accidentally impaled Sheppy with a shoe like two times. Somehow, they’ve gone on to perform at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Irving Plaza, Gramercy Theater, the Abrons Arts Center, and of course, Joe’s Pub, where they made their debut with three shows in 2019. Come join ‘em for another fantastic evening, from which you’ll definitely leave feeling really good about yourself.
