Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

  • A face mask is not required but strongly encouraged when attending performances on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday evenings.
  • All performances in Joe’s Pub do not require a face mask because food and drink are available throughout the show. A face mask is strongly encourage when not actively eating or drinking.

The 12th Annual LIVING FOR TODAY concert raises money for Gilana's Fund (www.gilanasfund.org), which provides funding for educational programming promoting acceptance and understanding of our communities, each other, and ourselves. The annual concert series was created in 2008, and has welcomed such guests as Idina Menzel, Vanessa Williams, Candice Bergen, Alice Ripley, Tituss Burgess, Bebe Neuwirth, LaChanze, Jim Dale, Kate Mulgrew, Lena Hall, and many more incredible performers to the stage. With a live band, Broadway’s biggest stars, and all proceeds going to a worthy cause, this is a night not to be missed! Check out our website and Facebook page to see this year’s guests!  #LFTConcert
