Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

Yemen Blues has created a sound that swirls with the Yemenite tradition of Muslims, Christians and Jews, with contemporary overlays of rock & roll, jazz & blues. They return to their favorite NY venue, Joe's Pub, with special guest Tim Ries for a huge celebration of Christmas Eve and Hanukkah! Guests include Shanir Blumenkranz, Omer Avital, Alex Levin, Asaf Yuria, Eden Ladin, Itay Morchi, Edo Gur and more. Renowned saxophone virtuoso Tim Ries, a member of the Rolling Stones and a noted composer and recording artist, will be joining this holiday celebration as a special guest. Led by charismatic front man Ravid Kahalani, Yemen Blues burst onto the world and contemporary music scenes in 2010 creating a worldwide buzz that has only gotten louder and more intense since then.
