Rob Schwimmer’s Triple Helix is a voyage through music that creates its own field, neither jazz nor classical nor pop but does embrace magic and mystery. Schwimmer is a master of the 3 instruments presented here: Piano, theremin and Haken Continuum. His fusion of virtuosity and originality is by turns exhilarating and moving, no less so in his treatment of standards than in his originals, all of it invoking a dazzling clarity of purpose. Rob will be joined by his friend acclaimed pianist Ethan Iverson on some numbers!
