Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

  • All performances in Joe’s Pub do not require a face mask because food and drink are available throughout the show. A face mask is strongly encourage when not actively eating or drinking.

Step into a magical kingdom of song and enchantment at EPIC Players' Neuroinclusive Cabaret, Once Upon a Cabaret! Join us at Joe's Pub for a night of Disney-themed delight, where fan favorites (and possibly some obscure cult-classics) from the Disney canon come to life on stage through the voices of the city's most incredible Neurodivergent Artists and Broadway guests.

Our neuroinclusive cabaret is more than just a show; it's a celebration of inclusivity, creativity, and the pure joy of performing arts. At EPIC Players, a nonprofit neurodiverse theater company, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to shine; and Once Upon a Cabaret is the perfect showcase for our amazing neurodivergent stars and exceptional Broadway guests. The evening will be led by Music Director: Scott Evan Davis!

So grab your glass slippers, hop on your magic carpet, and let your inner child roam free! Sing along to your favorite Disney tunes, laugh with delight as Disney puns abound, and experience the magic of theatre like never before.
