Here Lies Love: A Homecoming Concert
LA TI DO Productions in NYC presents Here Lies Love: A Homecoming Concert, featuring Filipina superstar, Vina Morales, a multi-awarded singer and actress, who is currently playing the role of Aurora Aquino in David Byrne and Fatboy Slim’s new hit musical, Here Lies Love. Dubbed as the "Ultimate Performer" by various media outlets, she is a 2-time Awit Awards winner, including the prestigious “Album of the Year,” in the country's equivalent of the Grammy’s.
Joining her are current Here Lies Love Broadway company members, as well as HLL Off-Broadway alumni, including Vincent Rodriguez III, best known as Josh Chan on the Emmy Award winning hit TV show, "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and Broadway Star Diane Phelan, who played the role of Cinderella in the recent Into The Woods revival.
In celebration of Filipino American History Month in October, see the show’s family return to its original home at The Public at Joe’s Pub as they express their joy and celebrate this watershed moment for Filipinos on Broadway.
Proceeds from the concert will be donated to The Hawai'i Coalition for Immigrant Rights (www.hicir.org), an organization that has been working around the clock since the aftermath of the Maui wildfires in August to provide aid to various immigrant groups, the largest of which are Filipinos.
Other participants for this benefit concert also include Reanne Acasio, Roy Flores, Nathan Angelo, Aaron Albano, Albert Guerzon, Lora Nicolas Olaes, Don Michael H. Mendoza, Ashitaka Porter, Fran Mae, Christiana Meeks, Vincent Rodriguez III, Romeo Torres, and Rob Chen. Don Michael H. Mendoza and Lora Nicolas Olaes serve as event hosts and producers.
About Here Lies Love

Developed and directed by Alex Timbers (Tony Award winner) and choreographed by Annie-B Parson (Olivier Award nominee), Here Lies Love is a “roof-raising, disco-infused extravaganza that turns the theatre into a dance floor with thrilling results” (The Guardian). Following sold-out, critically acclaimed runs at The Public Theater, London’s National Theatre, and Seattle Rep, “Here Lies love is the most entertaining new show on Broadway right now” (ABC7). Ticket buyers can experience this “undeniably enjoyable show” (New York Post) in two ways: seated or standing immersed within the action.
