The Tall Pines:
The Tall Pines are a shack-shakin’, foot stompin’ duo – Connie Lynn Petruk & Christmas Davis – who weld together their love of garage-rock, southern-soul, classic-country, dirty-blues and drive-in-movie aesthetics, to create a unique world that reflects their own original style. The Tall Pines have performed live on bills with Steve Earle, Nikki Lane, Alejandro Escovedo, Norah Jones’ “Puss N Boots” band, Tav Falco’s Panther Burns, Justin Townes Earle, Charlie Louvin, and many other legends. The Tall Pines put on a whirl-wind of a live show, with Connie Lynn singing and playing drums on an old alligator skin suitcase, and Christmas conjuring greasy, fuzz drenched riffs from his guitar while howling along. With a variety of singles available for streaming, and their vinyl only LP “Skeletons of Soul,”The Tall Pines create road-trip music for everyday life, juke-joint pit stops, and out of body experiences. We hope that you'll join us for the ride.
"The Tall Pines are equal parts soul and twang, molasses and moonshine, sass and skill. The songs evoke the heyday of the country-soul hybrid without ever sounding unoriginal, a difficult feat.”

Sal Maida – Reading From His Memoir “Four Strigs”:
Sal Maida has played bass for Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Roxy Music, Sparks, Milk n Cookies, Mary Weiss, The Runaways, Ronnie Spector, Cracker, Echo & the Bunnymen and Brian Eno. He hosts a monthly radio show on the lot radio called Spin Cycle. He has co- written 2 books called White Label Promo Preservation Society Volumes 1 & 2 with Mitchell Cohen. His first book was a memoir called “Four Strings, Phony Proof and 300 45’s.” Here’s what David Fricke said in Rolling Stone about it. “Sal Maida’s memoir is a breezy sharply drawn portrait of life in the nearly-star-time lane. Maida recalls a 1969 holiday in England-catching Yes at the Marquee in London, the Hollies at a prom- with wish-you-were there immediacy. As for those 300 45’s: The final third of the book is Maida’s capsule review of his favorite singles from the era. He is an astute advocate too, as in this summary of Procol Harum’s “A Whiter Shade of Pale: “They basically rewrote “When a Man Loves a Woman and cast it in a Blonde on Blonde setting.” I can’t say it any better!

Sofia D’Angelo – Musical Guest:
Sofia D'Angelo is a vocalist, songwriter, and DJ born and raised in NYC. She is also a member of the R&B indie pop band MICHELLE, signed to Atlantic Records. Drawing inspiration from her relationships, NYC, and nightlife, Sofia writes personable music to process her experiences and tap into the collective understanding that there are few things more valuable than connection.
The Brightmares – Musical Guest:
The Brightmares is the musical project of brothers Brendan and Damon Smith. Born and raised in New York City, they started writing music together in 2008, and have been collaborating ever since. As members of the band The Jacobins, they collaborated on an album and an EP. In 2020, they found themselves in lockdown together and decided it was the perfect time to start a new project together. The Brightmares began, and the brothers began work on a debut album. Recording in a basement in upstate New York and various bedrooms around Brooklyn, they honed their musical vision alongside their good friend and producer Griffin Jennings. After countless overdubs, string arrangements, and mixing sessions, an album was conceived. They released their debut album, "When the World Gets Fixed," in June of 2022. Currently, Damon is at work on a solo record called "Spectator," which will be dropping in 2024. Brendan sings in the viral sensation tenor trio known as T.3, and they recently celebrated the release of a brand new EP called "Option Up." The Brightmares are heading back into the studio in 2024 and are eager to get to work on their follow-up record.
