Health & Safety Policy Update

We are excited to welcome you back to The Delacorte Theater for our 60th Anniversary Season of Free Shakespeare in the Park. We ask that you read and understand the following when accessing tickets.

  • Effective April 19, 2022, The Public requires proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination to enter The Delacorte and attend performances. This policy will continue until further notice.
  • Complete vaccination is fourteen days following a final dose of the Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra-Zeneca vaccine.
  • We will accept proof of vaccination via Excelsior Pass, the NYC Covid Safe Pass, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination card, and/or a copy or photo of an official immunization record from outside the United States.
  • Face masks are encouraged, but not required while attending performances at The Delacorte.
  • Public Theater staff and artists are subject to a mandatory vaccination and booster policy.
  • All policies are subject to change at The Public’s sole discretion and without notice.
  • Those that do not abide by any health and safety protocols will be denied entry or removed from the facility.

  • All performances in Joe’s Pub do not require a face mask because food and drink are available throughout the show. A face mask is strongly encourage when not actively eating or drinking.

After sold-out, critically acclaimed runs at The Public Theater, London’s National Theatre, and Seattle Rep, HERE LIES LOVE is now coming to Broadway! We hope you'll join us for a special Broadway Benefit evening celebrating the production's thrilling return to New York.

HERE LIES LOVE is a groundbreaking musical about former Filipina First Lady Imelda Marcos’ astonishing rise to power and subsequent fall at the hands of the Philippine People Power Revolution. From the minds of David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, HERE LIES LOVE has been called “ingenious” by The New York Times and “an ecstatic and dynamic party” by Time Out New York. With choreography by Annie-B Parson and developed and directed by Alex Timbers, the theater is transformed into a dance club where the audience is immersed in the story.

Throughout the 90-minute performance, you'll be dancing and moving around in the center of the transformed Broadway Theatre. There are no seats on the floor. This is a truly unique experience on Broadway that you won't want to miss.

Wednesday, July 26 - SOLD OUT
VIP Lounge Tickets
There will be no better seat in the Broadway Theatre than in the VIP Lounge. In this section, you will have the best view of the actors and the action, and you'll have a private cash bar. Tickets at this level are extremely limited, so don't wait to buy your tickets!

This is not a Public Theater Production. Donations are non-refundable. For Dance Floor tickets, $81 is tax-deductible and for VIP Lounge Tickets, $151 is tax-deductible. Performers, performance, and event details are subject to change.
