Fresh off a winter run in Munich with contemporary circus production LIMBO, Sxip Shirey curates a night of surprising sounds, beautiful songs and mesmerizing compositions. 

Shirey tests the edge of music using his vast imagination to create playful and mischievous songs using familiar objects, mutant instruments, electronics and reconfigured sounds. He is a curious combination of composer/ sound designer/ performer meets storyteller/ curator. Every Sxip’s Hour of Charm is an explosion of original ideas and energizing music that will have you out of your seat and dancing by the end of the show.

The evening includes guest artists, Grammy nominated vocalist and composer, Priya Darshini, cabaret power couple, John Coons and Matta Aument, dancer Coco Karol, the haunting vocals of Aimee Curl, the sublime vocals of Raquel Klein, the surprising guitar and electronics work of Asher Kuntz.  Also joining will be John Altieri (Red Baraat, David Byrne & Saint Vincent) and Attis Clopton on drums (Rhiannon Giddens,Eli “Paperboy” Reed).
